November 2, 2010 – A Time For Choosing
Posted on 16. Aug, 2010 by jason in All Posts, Reagan Quotes, Reagan Revolution, What Would Reagan Do?
During most election cycles we can count on at least one candidate declaring “the upcoming election is the most important election of our lifetime”.
No statement could be more accurate for November 2, 2010.
In 1964, Ronald Reagan delivered a stump speech titled A Time for Choosing in support of Barry Goldwater’s presidential campaign. Reagan made the [...]
SETTING SENATOR GRAHAM STRAIGHT ON REAGAN & TEA PARTY
Posted on 15. Jul, 2010 by jamespratt in All Posts, Featured, James Pratt, Reagan Revolution, Uncategorized
We want Reagan-style leadership of fiscal sanity, moral responsibility, abundance through creative and productive enterprise, and the dream of American-style freedom projected at home and abroad. We want Democrats to abandon the platform of death to innocent beating hearts, socialism that destroys and devalues, and yes— join us, Mr. Graham—the new American Tea Party.
BECAUSE OF SACRED HONOR & MEN LIKE THESE

“We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.” There are wolves at the door. Incessant lying, corruption, “ruler’s law” mentality; all cast a long shadow across the land from our capitol named for our first liberator, George Washington. All that Murr and hundreds of thousands of others fought and died since for since the first Revolution are at risk. This, because as Edwin Meese III so eloquently stated:
MODERATES NEED NOT APPLY

A conservative or liberal will “draw a line in the sand” upon belief. Trying to keep a foot in two worlds, a moderate will wait for the prevailing wind to waft by erasing any line where risk is involved. Center of the road is a terrible a place to travel and is dangerous, while it takes thought to fight for something you believe in, right or left. When it comes to advancing a cause, Tea Party supporters will tell you moderates… need not apply.
EUROPE’S VIEW OF AMERICAN RIGHT – WHAT’S WRONG…
Posted on 23. Jun, 2010 by jamespratt in All Posts, Featured, Founding Principles, James Pratt, Reagan Revolution, Uncategorized
What’s wrong with elitist Europe’s view of America’s Right is that they have never had a “right” like ours. Europe’s political right has been dominated with hard-fisted regimes costing tens of millions of lives. The view of the “American Right” done through a Nazi, Communist, and Fascist lens is a dangerous generalization.

“The US Constitution – When ‘NO’ Means ‘YES’ to Freedom”

“If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.” – James Madison, Federalist Papers

READING TEA LEAVES – American Free Markets Win Battle Over Socialism

While a handful of decision makers in Washington DC will cause enormous damage to America’s financial lifeblood—investment in the private sector, job creation, and productivity—the American entrepreneurial spirit will eventually triumph over efforts by Obama ruling elites to “…fundamentally transform America.”
How will free enterprise and markets triumph?
What Would Reagan Do? A 1980 Deja Vu
Posted on 09. Apr, 2010 by jamespratt in Reagan Revolution
1980 Malaise & Decline – The media described the 39th US President’s effect upon America’s economy with one word—“malaise.” Jimmy Carter’s austerity and regulatory policies had promoted state-run economic anemia. Carter led foreign policy emboldened America’s enemies. Viewed as a minor league player from a peanut farm in Georgia, America’s adversaries welcomed with derision their [...]
Why the Gold Standard?
Posted on 18. Mar, 2010 by jamespratt in All Posts, James Pratt, Reagan Revolution
Reagan’s approach to governing was based upon core values and principles. He believed and practiced:
Personal and public honor, integrity and responsibility
Conservatism in fiscal policy
Lower taxes and burden on taxpayers and business’
States – returning to the states the rights to manage and govern their affairs

The Revolution Has Begun

THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN:
The Tea Party Revolution – people standing up and saying “no more” to out-of-control nanny governance – began almost immediately upon Obama being sworn into office in 2009. Something wasn’t right with the rhetoric and threats to the tried and true American experience coming from a one-party rule in Washington, DC.
REAGAN REVOLUTION [...]
